Privacy Policy
We collect only what is needed to run the learning experience, understand product quality, save progress when requested, and keep the service reliable.

What we collect
You can use the core learning experience without creating an account. We may process basic request information such as IP address, browser and device category, referring page, requested route, timestamps, and coarse location derived by our hosting infrastructure.
When you sign in, we receive the account identifiers needed for authentication and cross-device progress. Optional profile fields are collected only when you choose to provide them.
First-party product analytics
Our first-party product analytics records privacy-safe events such as page or mode viewed, active duration, query-run counts, completion events, and login or progress actions. It uses an anonymous browser identifier until an account is linked.
Product analytics does not store raw SQL, answer text, email addresses, or display names in browser event payloads.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, the analytics service integrated with our hosting platform, to measure anonymized page views, visitors, referrers, routes, device categories, browsers, operating systems, and coarse location. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. We do not load advertising or external marketing analytics scripts in the browser.
Practice data and AI-assisted features
Standard interactive SQL execution happens in the browser. Local progress remains on the device unless you choose to sign in and save it to your account.
When you explicitly request an AI-assisted interview explanation, the information required to answer that request may be sent securely to our AI service provider. Do not include personal or confidential information in SQL or answer fields.
Cookies and service providers
We use only functional storage required for:
- application preferences and anonymous learning continuity;
- optional authentication and account security;
- reliable hosting, database storage, abuse prevention, and requested AI features.
We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process limited data only to deliver the functions we use them for.
Retention, security, and your choices
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and retain operational, account, and aggregated learning data only for legitimate product, security, and legal needs.
You may continue as a guest, clear local browser storage, control cookies through your browser, or contact us to ask about account data. Visit our contact page for privacy requests.
Planned subscriptions and policy changes
A subscription offering may be introduced in the future. Before any checkout is enabled, this policy will identify the billing provider, the data it processes, and the choices available to customers.
Material policy changes will be published here with a revised review date. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
